Be Ready To Start A Long And Fruitful Career

Dr. Shahram Ayoubzadeh - Founder of OCH & Dean of CCHM

Our mission is to provide comprehensive, clinically-focused, and personalized education in homeopathic medicine and to help successive cohorts of homeopaths to graduate and establish thriving homeopathic practices while leading healthy and purposeful lives.

We also have a mission to provide low cost homeopathic treatment to our local communities who otherwise could not afford treatment.

Our vision is to help grow the homeopathic community in North America and abroad, and to provide greater access to this essential natural healing modality to the population at large.

We center the structure and growth of our education programs around values of sustainability, healthy study-life balance, inclusivity of various homeopathic approaches, and clinical excellence.

We offer a unique opportunity for healing to all people, including those who have been unable to find satisfactory relief from their ailments through other approaches.

What Our Students Have to Say

As students, we are so fortunate to have four dedicated and passionate instructors who each provide us with their unique perspective and approach to learning the remedies, case taking and homeopathic philosophy while ensuring that we are grounded in the core principles.
My experience with the 3-year course has been enlightening & inspiring. Shahram Ayoubzadeh captivated us with his lectures as he time & again led us through a series of connections to present a remedy.
Shahram, you have a gift as a teacher of homeopathy. To teach the ‘art’ of a healing modality is no mean feat. I admire your patience, your flexibility, your generosity and willingness to share all of your knowledge with us.
Wow, where do I start…I am very thankful for having learned more about Homeopathy. I experienced a profound sense of empowerment, knowing that we already have a system of natural medicine we need to trigger our body’s healing ability.

About Homeopathy

What Is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is an evidence-based system of medicine that uses natural substances to trigger the body’s innate healing abilities. It uses highly diluted and potentised medicines, which are known as homeopathic remedies. These remedies are selected on the basis of each person’s unique expression of their illness. The homeopath looks for what is individualizing and particular to that person’s mental, emotional and physical symptoms and finds the homeopathic remedy that best matches this holistic view of the person.

The remedy is selected based on the principle of “like cures like”; which states that a natural substance is able to neutralize the same symptoms or illness that it can cause. This idea makes use of the body’s inner healing potential by triggering it to push back against the stimulation of the homeopathic remedy. When the homeopathic remedy matches the body’s unique expression of the illness, it triggers it to move towards health both in the specific organ of the disease and in the person as a whole, resulting in better sleep, higher energy, and improved resistance to the mental and emotional stresses of life.

Homeopathy has been in existence for over 200 years, is practiced all over the world and has been recognized by the World Health Organization as the second largest system of natural medicine.

Who Can Become a Homeopath?

In Canada and the United States, you can train to become a homeopathic practitioner if you have a high school diploma, a good understanding of the English language, and a strong desire to help people. Homeopaths come from a wide range of backgrounds, including non-medical and medical ones. The practice of homeopathy requires the use of logic and insightfulness and each student brings to it their unique skills and perspective. During our 3-year Professional Homeopathic Training Program, you will acquire an in-depth knowledge of how to use homeopathic remedies to help patients. The program also includes the study of medical sciences such as the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the different organ systems of the body. Students who already have prior training in medical sciences may obtain equivalencies for these parts of the program. Learn more by visiting our sister school Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine.
